New for Cim200 v2024 R3 is our Carbon Footprint Calculator. With this powerful functionality built into the system, calculate the carbon emissions generated from your manufacturing processes with ease.
Working towards cleaner manufacturing with Cim200 Manufacturing…
Configure the system to calculate the carbon footprint of all your manufactured items, along with non-production overhead emissions and vehicle fleet emissions to give you a complete overview of your business’ carbon emissions. The carbon footprint calculator output is expressed as KgCO2e (Kilograms of Carbon Dioxide Equivalent). With this, you can identify which manufacturing processes, machines or vehicles are having the most environmental impact.
How our Cim200 Carbon Footprint Calculator Works
In order to calculate your business’ Carbon Footprint, you need to define:
- the fuels or energy sources that your machinery, equipment and vehicle fleet uses
- any fuel overheads (such as electricity and gas)
- the vehicles running in your fleet, as well as their vehicle emissions per kilometre and their average annual mileage
Then, you need to associate your Carbon Footprint with production:
- On the machine records, specify the energy usage for each machine
- Define the carbon emissions associated with your stock items
As you process Works Orders, the system will automatically calculate the carbon emissions based on the materials used, machine time, and other relevant factors.
Then, generate reports that display the overall carbon emissions for a given time period. With these, you can identify the areas of your manufacturing process that have the highest impact on the environment and take steps to reduce your carbon footprint.
What are the benefits of our Cim200 Carbon Footprint Calculator?
- Comprehensive Tracking – Track carbon emissions from a range of sources including built items, non-production overheads, and vehicle emissions.
- Emissions Reporting – Receive detailed reports on your carbon emissions, broken down by different sources.
- Impact Identification – Pinpoint the processes, machines or vehicles that contribute the most to your overall emissions.
- Continuous Improvement – Regularly monitor and analyse your carbon footprint and track the impact of your ongoing sustainability initiatives.
Available in v2024 R3 onwards, the Cim200 Carbon Footprint Calculator is a handy tool for manufacturers looking to analyse their carbon emissions with ease.
