Behind the scenes, CIM’s development team has been working to develop new manufacturing functionality for Cim50 and Cim200. Namely, a Graphical Scheduler for Manufacturers. This has been a product wish for some time, and we are pleased to announce that the Cim50 and Cim200 Schedulers are now available and have been since 1st October 2023.
Our Graphical Scheduler is a visual representation of your manufacturing schedule. It displays processes on a timeline to aid in planning and managing of production activities. As well as allowing users to visualise their production schedule, they can also control their shopfloor workload too. The Graphical Scheduler is colour-coded and has a simple to use, drag-and-drop interface.
The Cim50 and Cim200 Graphical Schedulers integrate directly with Cim50 and Cim200 respectively. The Scheduler draws its data directly from Cim50 or Cim200, allowing the production plan to be reviewed and manipulated, providing ‘What if’ functionality, before committing it back to the CIM manufacturing solution.

In terms of deployment, the Cim50 and Cim200 Schedulers are device-agnostic, web-enabled and locally hosted. It’s usable in any browser and it is also possible to access it from outside of the business with the relevant security precautions and IT provision. Thanks to its simple-to-use interface, minimal training and implementation is required to get started.
