The latest version of Sage 200 Professional is here, Sage 200 2025 R1. Sage’s development roadmap focuses on simplifying business processes, increasing efficiency, and modernising the software with greater flexibility of access. This specific version includes a variety of customer-requested enhancements, new web screens and major improvements to new and updated API endpoints and migration tools. All of the new features and enhancements are designed to elevate the Sage 200 experience. Sage 200 2025 R1 was released by Sage on 20/06/25 and the internal version number for this release is 2025.01.

Stock item alerts
Expansion of the alerts capability to include stock. See important notifications related to stock items and share key information. Avoid stockouts, overstocking, lost sales, customer churn due to poor service, production interruption and wasting time in manual inventory monitoring.
Streamlined customer and supplier communications
Easily track interactions with customers and suppliers. With visibility of past engagements, this feature can help manage relationships more effectively. This feature could also be useful for customer follow-ups or supplier delivery follow-ups.
Stock list update – country of origin
Country of origin will be available to add to the stock list, presenting even more essential information.
New web screens
Web screens for SOP returns (Enter, Amend and View), SOP Amend Order Status and Amend Return Status. Sage 200 2025 R1 also includes a variety of SOP forms.
API functionality expansion
New API fields and/or changes to existing API functionality to expand automation, opening the door to a wider ecosystem of complementary applications and increasing the services and automation workflows available.
Compatibility with Cim200
We are currently testing the compatibility of Cim200 with this release of Sage 200. We will update this blog in due course to confirm its compatibility.
