Support Calls July 2025
In July, our support team successfully handled 471 support calls across all software platforms.
We noted a significant rise in tickets related to users unintentionally upgrading their Sage 50 Accounts data. This action can sometimes render Cim50 inoperable. To ensure the continuity of your business solution, we recommend checking with the team at CIM Software before upgrading to discuss the process, the implications, and to see if we can assist you
💡Hints & Tips
Are you experiencing issues with stock movements despite the available stock
Occasionally, you may find that you’re unable to complete a stock movement even though there appears to be sufficient stock available. This is often due to reserved quantities within databases.
If Sage/Cim200 crashes during a transaction, it can leave behind reserved quantities, even if the transaction didn’t complete successfully. These residual reservations can prevent stock from being used and typically require assistance from CIM support to clear.
Viewing reserved quantities in the stock list
You can add a column to the Stock List to display reserved quantities by following these steps:
– Open Stock List
– Right-click on the column header
– Select columns
– Choose values
– Select Quantity Reserved
– Click to add it to the list view, it will appear at the far right of the column headers
Automated clearing reserved quantities
CIM Support offers a service to implement an overnight SQL Maintenance Plan that automatically clears reserved quantities from all stock records. Please note that this process must run outside of active Sage/Cim200 usage hours.
