🌟 Employee Spotlight

Charlotte Taylor
Position: Support Technician


Achievements: Charlotte possesses extensive expertise in the 50 suite, demonstrating a deep understanding and proficiency in its functionalities.  Recently, she has begun to expand her skill set by venturing into the 200 suite.  Her progress in mastering this new suite has been impressive, showcasing her adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.  In addition to her technical abilities, Charlotte excels in customer service.  She consistently provides exceptional support, ensuring that clients feel valued and understood.

Outside of work, Charlotte is preparing for her upcoming summer wedding.  This exciting event has her immersed in planning and organising for the celebration.  She also finds time to walk Ralph, her dog and enjoys the odd glass of wine or two!

Support Calls March 2025
Details: In March, our team managed a total of 513 support calls, covering all the software solutions we provide.  This period typically sees a surge in support requests, particularly as we approach the most common financial year-end date.  The increase in calls is a testament to our clients’ reliance on our expertise during critical times, and our team remains dedicated to delivering timely and effective support to meet their needs.


 ❗Important News

Opayo (Formerly known as Sage Pay)
There are some changes to Opayo as it becomes a product under the Elavon brand.  The URLs currently used to send transactions to Opayo are changing and there is a potential need for customers to upgrade before 31st October 2025.

What version do you need to be on?

  • Sage 50 Accounts needs to be v30 or later.

How can you check your version of Sage?

  • Open Sage 50 Accounts.

Go to the menu bar and select Help.

Click on About.

In the Program Details section, you will find the version number listed.

If you think an upgrade is necessary, please reach out to your Account Manager, Martin Conner.

New Release of Sage 50 Accounts and Cim50

Sage 50 Accounts v32 is set to launch soon, offering a range of new features.  Among these is an enhanced dashboard that simplifies access to critical insights, including aged debtor and creditor information, all displayed on a single screen for improved business performance monitoring.

Cim50 v2025 has been designed to align seamlessly with Sage 50 Accounts v32 and represents our most significant release yet.  This version introduces numerous enhancements, including a revamped stock adjustment screen, trial kitting across multiple sales orders, and the ability to firm-link purchase orders with works orders.

🌍 CIM Challenge

Yesterday, we hosted our first CIM Bake-Off, where participants were challenged to bake a Victoria Sandwich.  Our colleagues had the delightful task of sampling all the cakes and voting for their favourite.  I’m sure everyone will agree that the cakes looked absolutely scrumptious.

Congratulations to Debbie and Charlotte, this month’s Winner and Runner Up! This year, our charity of choice is Cancer Research UK and we’d be extremely grateful for any donations towards this great cause!
