Support Newsletter – August 2024 – Sage 200

Welcome to the Support Newsletter for August.

At CIM, things move quickly.  Just when we thought we had finished introducing the support team, we have another new member to welcome!

Sage 200

Sage 200 – Sales Orders Showing a Reference Beginning with a Hash

If a sales order is missing from the Sales Order list or stock is allocated to an invisible order, it might be a hashed order.  This typically occurs if the system crashes during processing and fails to assign an order number, which is part of the saving process.  It’s normal to see these hashed orders when other users are processing.  This issue is known in the Sage 200 software.

To resolve this, try removing disconnected logins by navigating to Tools > User Login Status and clicking Log Off on any users listed under disconnected logins.

If the problem persists, please contact the support desk.  We will run a CIM custom utility on the SQL server to remove these orders.

Sage CRM

CRM Versions 2022 R1, 2022 R2, 2023 R1 and 2022 R2

Sage take the security of its customer solutions extremely seriously, and regularly undertakes proactive testing across its products to identify potential

vulnerabilities and provide fixes.  We wanted to let you know that two patches are now available, to address and perform additional checks, in connection with a SQL injection vulnerability.

CRM Version 2024 R1 and later versions are not affected.

Please select the contact us button at the bottom of this mailer if you would like the patch applied to your CRM system.

Cim200

Introduction to the Cim200 Scheduler

Plan your shop floor production schedule quickly and easily using the Cim200 Scheduler.  Quickly identify resource capacity issues and conflicts and adjust your production plan accordingly.

The Cim200 Scheduler is a graphical scheduling tool that allows you to plan your works order production schedule based on your resource availability.

There are 2 different views available.

The Works Order Scheduling view is a split-screen view which allows you to schedule Works Orders whilst displaying resource conflicts as a result of the orders scheduled. You can then resolve those conflicts as necessary until you have a workable production plan.

The Resource Utilisation view is another split-screen view, which allows you to schedule Works Orders by resource and displays resource utilisation based on the orders scheduled.

Note: The Cim200 Scheduler is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge (New/Modern versions only) browsers.

If you would like to see a demo of our scheduler, please contact Juuso Santti, your Account Manager.

We hope these guides/articles will be of assistance, however, if you wish to discuss these further, please contact the support team by clicking the button at the bottom of this newsletter.

With Financial Year End fast approaching, did you know that the CIM Support Desk can assist with a back-up of your live data and create a new company (if required) free of charge?

If you would like to take advantage of this, all we ask is that we are given a minimum of two working days’ notice to schedule it in.

Please note this only applies to one data set, multiple data sets would be chargeable and have a longer lead time.
