🏆 Company Achievements

In November, our team efficiently managed a total of 410 support calls across all software solutions. There was a spike in Sage 50 Accounts cases this month, and the most common support call was regarding Sage 50 Services requiring a restart. More information regarding how you, the end user, can restart Sage 50 Services will be available in a newsletter early next year!

💡Hints & Tips

When using Sage, the system may occasionally freeze, displaying a message similar to the one below:

When this happens, ask all users to log out of Sage, some users might need to force quit via Task Manager. Once everyone has logged out, the Sage Data and Control Services will need to be restarted, or alternatively, the Sage server could be rebooted. You may need assistance from your IT Support team, as these services are typically hosted on the server. Please refer to this article from the Sage Knowledgebase for further guidance.

If there are errors in your data, you will see the message below when you log on. You will need to run a data check and refer to this Sage article, which provides an A-Z guide of errors, warnings, and comments, along with the steps to resolve them. Note: If you use Cim50 alongside Sage 50 Accounts, please do not restore the Accounts data without contacting CIM Software Support, as the Cim50 data will need to be restored as well.

If you experience Cim50 freezing or you are unable to open Cim50 the first troubleshooting step is to restart the Sage 50 Accounts services as detailed above. If the Sage 50 Accounts service is failing or has failed, this will have an impact on Cim50.

🌍 CIM Challenge

We’ve decided to pause and catch our breath after an incredibly busy October. Our hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed! The goal was to raise £1,000 for Cancer Research this year, and thanks to everyone’s efforts, we’ve surpassed that by raising an amazing £1,437 for this fantastic cause. Thanks to everyone who has donated.
