Welcome to the July edition of the CIM Support newsletter
Last month I mentioned that some of my colleagues would be walking 26.2 miles in one day, well I am so pleased and proud to say that they did it!

Sage 50 Accounts
- Have you received notification from Sage advising that you need to migrate to a new Bank Feed? If not, this does not apply to you. If you did receive notification from Sage, please click here for further information on migrating to a new bank feed.
- If you have errors that cannot be fixed there are usually two options available, the first is to restore from a clean back-up, the second is to send your data off for repair. Please contact us should you find yourself in this position as occasionally we can fix the ‘corruption’ or we can arrange for your data to be sent for repair with Adept Tools for whom we are an approved partner.
- Do you run the same reports at certain intervals, ie month end for example? Did you know that you can save time by using Batch Reporting? You can set up Batch Reporting to run multiple reports in one click. For information on how to set up Batch Reporting please click here.
Cim50
Important!
There is a new release of Cim50 in July 2023, version 2023.2. It is so important that you do not upgrade until you have checked whether the versions of your third-party applications are compatible, such as Sage 50 Accounts, whether any bespoke programs or applications require upgrading, or any ODBC reports need reconnecting.
Often following a release, we receive a high number of support calls from customers who upgrade only to find that other applications are not compatible. This puts a strain on our support resources, as we do not want our customers to be without a system, but we cannot always react to the level we would normally, so please reach out if you are thinking of upgrading.
CIM Challenge
A massive shout out to our CIM Marathon Walkers for completing (or as planned part completing) the big one! 278 miles in a day is simply awesome.
Congratulations to Becca, Charlotte, Ethan, Jamie, Juuso, Lucy, Luke, Martin, Paul, Steve H, Stuart and Tom.
With their effort, during June 2023 we walked 857 miles.
Although we have not hit our target for June, it is still quite amazing as the beautiful hot weather did hinder our efforts. Having said that, some of the hardcore dog walkers were out pounding the pavements at 5.30 some mornings!
