Welcome to the Support Newsletter for June. We anticipate the release of Sage Accounts v30.1 to occur in mid-June. Please note that at the moment of writing this newsletter, we are yet to receive official confirmation or the software itself.
We will also continue with our introduction of the Support Team members, this month the spotlight is on Tom, one of our Support Technicians.
Sage 50 Accounts
Important Please do not upgrade Sage Accounts if you use Cim50. We will let you know about compatibility in due course and once you have received notification you can upgrade.
Important Should you have bespoke programs, please verify their compatibility with the newest Sage Accounts release before you upgrade.
Important To prevent any unintended upgrades to the latest Sage Accounts version, it’s advised to disable automatic updates for all users within the program. Guidance on accomplishing this is available here, which essentially involves setting updates to manual.
V30.1 New Features
Bank Feeds – Statement Import
You can manually upload bank statements from any financial institution, granting you immediate access to your banking activity. This is particularly beneficial if your bank does not support automatic Bank Feeds, or if you need to upload transactions that date back further than the usual 90-day limit.
Restore into Practice Data
The new feature allows for the restoration of backups into the current practice data, serving as a reference resource.

Cim50
Are you familiar with our Roadmap? It’s the place to find out about the new features and updates that are in the pipeline for Cim50’s upcoming release. Expect over 40 enhancements and new functionalities to arrive in January 2025.
Additionally, we offer a Wishlist feature where you can explore our desired developments, endorse wishes you find advantageous with an upvote, or contribute your own ideas for potential inclusion in subsequent versions of the software.
Meet the Team
The Support Team at CIM is made up of five permanent members whose skillset covers Sage 50 Accounts, Cim50 Manufacturing, Sage 200, Cim200 Manufacturing, Sage CRM and Swan software. We also provide support for third party add-ons, such as Draycir (Spindle), Eureka and Sicon.
Spotlight on Tom
Tom joined the CIM team in October 2021 and has dedicated his time to providing support desk services. He is well-versed in the 50 suite, including Sage50 and Cim50, and excels in customer service. An avid golfer, Tom has outplayed James on several occasions, yet faced a significant loss on his own turf. Likely, he found solace in his delightful homemade brownies and cookies that sometimes grace the office – a budding star baker indeed.
