💡Tips

Sage 200 – Email Errors in New Outlook

Did you know that pressing F1 in Sage 200 opens context-sensitive help for the exact screen or field you’re currently viewing? This makes it one of the quickest ways for users to get answers, guidance, and step‑by‑step instructions without leaving the software.

  1. Open any screen in Sage 200
  2. Press F1 on your keyboard
  3. A help page will open, showing: What screens do, step-by-step instructions, Common tasks, links to related topics

This makes F1 the fastest method to get guidance for the window you’re currently using.

Sage 200 – Version Support & Lifecycle

Sage 200 follows a two-release-per-year model; these are the current supported releases.
Fully Supported Versions:

  • 2025 R2
  • 2025 R1
  • 2204 R2/R1

Versions Needing Upgrade Planning:

  • 2023 R1
  • 2022 & earlier

Cim200 – Use Audit Logging for Troubleshooting

Audit logging is a powerful tool when investigating issues such as:
– Unexpected stock movements
– Works order amendments
– Cost changes

Although often overlooked, audit logs can save significant time during support calls and investigations by quickly identifying what has changed and when.

Cim200 – Are You Getting the Most Out of Cim200?

Cim200 builds on the core functionality of Sage 200 Manufacturing and introduces powerful additional features, including:

  • Graphical Scheduler (web-enabled, drag & drop production planning)
  • Advanced MRP
  • Quarantine and inspection processes
  • Barcoding and Shop Floor Data Capture (SFDC)
  • Audit logging
  • Multi-warehouse support for more complex manufacturing operations

🛠️ Cim200 Release

We’re excited to announce that a new version of Cim200 was released at the end of March. This update included a range of new features, such as enhancements to the Stock Profile screen, the ability to set a default purchasing warehouse so that all MRP‑generated purchase orders default to a chosen warehouse, and new functionality allowing SFDC users to complete stocktake counts directly within SFDC.

💡Company Competition

It’s that time of year when we are invited to compete in the CIM Fantasy Six Nations. Sam, one of the consultants, is responsible for setting up the league, and he informs us every match week of the players available.

We have three entrants on the Support Desk, Roger, Debs, and Tom, and our aim is to try to beat Sam, who tends to win most years.

We will let you know who reigns supreme next month, but I think it’s safe to say that France looks like they will win the Six Nations this year.
