Welcome to the May edition of the CIM Support newsletter

Spring has finally sprung and there’s a lot to celebrate this month, including three Bank Holidays.

Sage 200 Compatibility Checker

We often receive calls where there are problems emailing documents from Sage 200. It may have worked perfectly fine last week, but it’s not working this week. Often it is because you have had an upgrade of Office or a Windows update has been applied. To ensure that you are using a compatible version of Office, please refer to this guide.

You may find it useful to also send this onto your IT Support.

Since Brexit, are you scratching your head wondering which VAT code to use? Help is at hand with this useful interactive guide

The guide works through Sales and Purchase transactions, whether they are for goods or services, and whether they are UK or abroad.

Report of the Month

Nominal Ledger Out Of Balance

 This report can help to identify transactions that may be causing your TB to be Out of Balance. It can be caused by one sided transactions or a transaction that has been posted across two separate periods. 
 
If you would like this report added to your Sage200 software please let us know.

CIM Challenge

Our CIM Challenge for 2023 is to walk 11,072 miles, that’s the equivalent of walking the coastline of mainland Britain.

Whilst we won’t actually be walking the coastline, we will be updating you each month with how many miles we have walked collectively as a company. 
 
During April 2023 we walked 854.74 miles which unfortunately was not enough to hit our target. We have fallen behind by 36.83 miles. We need to walk 959.49 miles in May to hit our target.
