🌟 Employee Spotlight

Debbie Hunt, Support Manager
Debbie has been a valued member of CIM Software since 2007. She began her journey on the support desk, initially focusing on Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Manufacturing. Over time, she expanded her expertise to include Sage 200 and CIM’s own suite of products. Through years of dedication, Debbie has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys a variety of interests including music, theatre, and countryside walks with her dogs, Chester and Jess. She also loves holidays with her husband Roger (who is also part of the CIM team) and spending quality time with family and friends. She also loves baking and was proudly crowned our Star Baker last month!


🏆 Company Achievements

Support Calls April 2025
In April, our team successfully handled 483 support calls across all our software solutions, a substantial volume, especially considering the Easter period and associated holidays. Notably, all modules remained stable throughout the month, with no spikes or irregularities reported.


💡Hints & Tips

Help us to help you

To ensure we can resolve your support requests as efficiently as possible, we kindly ask that you include as much relevant detail as you can when logging a support ticket. The more context you provide upfront, the quicker we can identify and implement a solution, without needing to follow up for basic information.
For instance, a ticket stating “I cannot dispatch my sales order” doesn’t give us enough to work with. We would need to contact you to ask for the sales order number, whether you’re dispatching the full or partial order, which line items are affected, the quantities involved, and so on. Including these details when you first raise the ticket helps us get straight to work on resolving the issue, saving time for everyone.

New Release

The upcoming Sage 200 2025 R1 is set to launch on 20th June 2025. This latest release introduces several key features, enhancing functionality and performance.
Stay Informed with Stock Item Alerts – Instantly see important notifications related to selected stock items, helping you take timely action and stay on top of your inventory.
Streamlined Customer & Supplier Communications – Easily track interactions with customers and suppliers. This is especially useful for credit control, giving visibility into past engagements and helping manage relationships more effectively.
Country of Origin in Stock List – Easily identify where your stock comes from at a glance.
Continuing our journey of modernisation – Our next phase of our Sage 200 commercials web screens, offering a more modern and intuitive interface.

🌍 CIM Challenge

We hosted our second CIM Bake-Off, where participants were challenged to bake flapjacks. Once again, our colleagues had the delightful task of sampling all the flapjacks and voting for their favourite. Don’t they look amazing?! Congratulations to Steve, this month’s winner with his delicious chocolate flapjacks!

In June, a number of the CIM team are taking on the Big Hike Jurassic Coast as part of our 2025 Charity Challenges. We have walkers taking on the 26, 13 and 6 mile distances across the stunning Dorset coast, good luck team!

Our Charity of the year is Cancer Research UK and we’d love your support in raising as much as we can for this brilliant cause.
