Welcome to the May edition of the CIM Support newsletter.
Spring has finally sprung and there’s a lot to celebrate this month, including three Bank Holidays.

Sage 50 Accounts
- Do you run multiple reports in Sage, perhaps at month end or year end? If you do, you may want to consider running Batch Reports. This is where you can run multiple reports at once. For information on how to set this up, please click here.
- Did you know that you can configure your toolbars and columns in Sage? You can hide columns that you don’t need and replace them with columns that are useful to you. Similarly, you can customise your toolbar. Please click here for information on how to achieve this.
Cim50
- Does Cim50 close a few seconds after you have logged in? If this occurs please take a look at this guide.
- Would your processes be quicker and easier if you could process stock transactions via a handheld tablet or workshop PC? Perhaps you need to consider Cim50 Shop Floor Data Capture. SFDC is a separate module, that sits alongside Cim50. The stock transactions that can be processed by utilising bar code scanning include.
- Stock Location Transfers
- Quarantine Transfers & Inspection
- Purchase Order Creation
- Goods Receipt Processing
- Goods Despatch Processing
- Stock Take
- BOM Build
- BOM Reverse Build
- Works Order Stock Allocation
- Works Order Component Scrapping
- Finished Goods Scrapping
- Works Order Completion
For more information on SFDC, please contact your Account Manager, Martin Conner.
CIM Challenge
Our CIM Challenge for 2023 is to walk 11,072 miles, that’s the equivalent of walking the coastline of mainland Britain.
Whilst we won’t actually be walking the coastline, we will be updating you each month with how many miles we have walked collectively as a company.
During April 2023 we walked 854.74 miles which unfortunately was not enough to hit our target. We have fallen behind by 36.83 miles. We need to walk 959.49 miles in May to hit our target.
Do you have any words of encouragement for us? If so, we’d love to hear them.

To find out about the charity we are supporting, hear about our group walk and perhaps even donate to a fantastic cause please click on the link below.
