v2026 R1 SP1 — Released 22nd May 2026
We’re pleased to announce that Cim200 v2026 R1 SP1 is now available. This service pack is compatible with Sage 200 Professional v2023 R1 onwards. Key areas addressed in this release include:
Stock Control — fixes for rapid entry stock transfers, stocktake import performance, and buying unit settings on supplier record
Bill of Materials — notes are now correctly carried across when copying a BOM, and updating labour rates no longer clears the manning level.
Works Orders — a wide range of fixes covering backflushing quantities, traceable completions, warehouse/bin priority on stock issues, timesheet employee records, and several edge cases around closing and over-completing orders.
Planning — corrections to MRP recommendations for jobbing items, transfer time calculations between locations, and improved performance when loading large sales forecasts.
Purchase Order Processing — fixes to quarantine inspection quantities when using alternate units of measure, and to Subcontract list quantity totals.
Shop Floor Data Capture — route card barcodes are now correctly recognised when scanning in to log onto operations.
Quotations — resolved errors when cancelling out of a quote and an issue where users without permission were prompted to raise works orders on quote conversion.
If you have any questions about upgrading or would like to know more, please get in touch with our support team.
System Administration Support Contract
Do you find managing users and roles within Sage 200 System Administration time-consuming or challenging?
CIM is pleased to introduce a new optional support contract designed to take this off your hands. Our team can manage your system administration tasks for you, including:
- Creating and maintaining user accounts
- Assigning and managing accounts
- Setting up new roles tailored to your business needs
- Adding standard reports from Sage Report Library
This service helps ensure your system is maintained accurately and efficiently, freeing up your time to focus on your day-to-day operations.
Did you know? - Kit BoMs
Rather than raising a full works order, Cim200’s Kit BOM type lets you complete a BOM build during sales order allocation, adjusting component items out of stock and booking the finished kit in, all in one step. This streamlines your order processing and significantly reduces data entry overhead.
💡 Tip
Kit BOMs are ideal for businesses that assemble to order. If you’d like to know more about setting up Kit BOMs in Cim200, speak to a member of the team today.
We Need Your Vote!
When Sage 200 is installed, the default setting for printing documents is to send them to the spooler. This catches a lot of users out, if you’ve ever hit print and wondered why nothing happened, this is likely why!
A great idea has been raised on the Sage 200 Ideas Portal to change the default output mode to Preview, so documents appear on screen rather than heading silently to the spooler. It’s a small change that would make a big difference for new users in particular.
The more votes this receives, the better the chance of Sage implementing it, so please take a moment to cast your vote!
