The latest version of Sage 200 has just been released, 2023 R2. One of the key highlights of this release is the introduction of the ability to customise existing web screens on both Professional and, for the first time, Standard variants. This means its possible to tailor the web interface to perfectly align with unique business requirements.
Sage developing this functionality is a key part of their product modernisation journey and will ultimately enable users to create a more tailored product experience.
In Sage 200 Professional, businesses can go even further and create entirely new web features from scratch, based on a range of new powerful capabilities which include access to a customisable API and the full power of the JavaScript ecosystem.
To coincide with the new web customisation capabilities, there is also an extension of the number of spare fields in this release. This is increasing from 12 to 30. These will allow users to tailor different entities in the software including ledgers, cashbook, purchase orders etc.
Other updates included in Sage 200 2023 R2 are:
- Intrastat compliance for Republic of Ireland (double digit nature codes)
- Updated banking and invoice payments technical components
- User interface updates based on branding changes
