We Completed Our Charity Walking Challenge

A year ago today, the CIM Software team embarked on a year-long walking challenge for local charity, Alfie’s Wish. Alfie’s Wish provide UK days out for families of children with cancer to enable them to make special memories.

As a team, our goal was to walk a total of 11,072 miles over the course of 2023.

Why 11,072 miles?

This is the equivalent of walking the coastline of mainland Britain.

In order to hit the target, each member of the CIM Software team needed to walk an average of a mile per day. We each tracked our miles walked through an app and took on a marathon walk back in June to help boost our total miles walked.

… and, we’re thrilled to announce that we have completed our challenge! As a company, we walked 11,166 miles in 2023.

It’s not too late to make a donation as part of our charity challenge, we’d really appreciate any support!
