Welcome to the December edition of the CIM Support newsletter.  Don’t worry, this is not a Black Friday email 😂


Sage 200 Ideas Portal

We may have previously advised you to log a ‘wish’ on the Sage Ideas Hub by clicking on the lightbulb in the top right-hand side of the Sage 200 window so you may be familiar with this function.  However, Sage has updated the website and has created a new site named Sage200 UKI Ideas Portal.  You can log a new idea, search and comment on existing ideas and most importantly is to vote on ideas.  The more votes received the better the chance of Sage reviewing the idea.

I have picked out three ideas that CIM Support has been asked about numerous times over the years and if you could spare a couple of minutes to vote on these it would be most excellent.  You can access the portal here and then enter the numbers below in the search box.

No. 1389          Functionality to report on the Sage Features allocated to individual User Roles

It’s that time of year when you may want to email your customers and/or suppliers to advise of your Christmas Opening Hours.  Did you know that you can export your customer email addresses from the Customer List Workspace?  Go to Workspaces > Sales Ledger > Customer List or Workspaces > Purchase Ledger > Supplier List.  Then click on the Export option from the menu across the top of the list and the data will be available in Excel.

Report of the Month

Quotations (Detailed) by Customer with Expiry Date (This report is only available for Sage 200 Professional R1 or above).

A list of quotation item line values, quantities and expiry date grouped by customer..

CIM Challenge

During November 2023 we walked 558.19 miles.  Unfortunately, we are off target by 598.28 miles. However, there is something to celebrate, we have one walker (and his companions) who has surpassed 1500 miles so far this year.
