Sage 50 Accounts v30
Sage 50 Accounts v30 is the latest version of Sage’s accounting software for small to medium businesses. It has some new features that can help you manage your finances more efficiently and effectively. Some of the new features are:
AI Report Finder: This is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to help you find the report you need. You can type in a natural language query, such as “show me sales by product”, and the tool will suggest the best report for you. You can also filter and sort the reports by various criteria, such as date, category, or name.
64-bit version: Sage 50 Accounts v30 is now a 64-bit application, which means it can use more memory and perform better. It also integrates better with other 64-bit applications, such as Microsoft Office. This can improve the speed, stability, and security of your software.
Bank Feeds enhancements: Bank Feeds now offer automated rule creation and approval, which means that transactions are automatically categorized and recorded directly from the feed. This can save you time and reduce the risk of errors. You can also review and edit the rules as needed.
Invoice Finance from Lloyds Bank: This is a feature that allows you to get early access to the funds owed to you by your customers within 24 hours. You can manage this service from within your Sage 50 Accounts software. This can help you boost your cash flow and grow your business.
New tax code property for fees: This is a setting that applies the reverse charge for the fees associated with Invoice Payments via Stripe. This means that the VAT return will automatically reflect the correct amounts in the relevant boxes. This can simplify your VAT reporting and compliance.
These are some of the new features of Sage 50 Accounts v30, but there are more to explore and enjoy.
Cim50 v2024.1
Cim 50 is a software solution that integrates with Sage 50 Accounts to provide advanced manufacturing and production planning capabilities. Cim 50 v2024.1 is the latest version of Cim 50 that is compatible with Sage 50 Accounts v30 and below are some of the minor changes.
Planning Improved performance loading the amend/view sales forecast screens.
SFDC When logging out of SFDC, the login information in the top left corner now resets, rather than showing the person as still logged in.
Stock Control The Sales Order Line ‘Order Reference’ field is now populated on Invoice Lines raised via Cim50.
Works Orders If a works order is now completed with 0 quantity and the ‘Complete Regardless of Quantity Outstanding’ option being selected, an audit log entry is added to the works order.
This release not only ensures compatibility with the newest version of Sage 50 Accounts, but also fixes any bugs that were reported since Cim50 v2024 came out. Fixing all the reported bugs before the next release is our constant goal.
Meet the Team
The Support Team at CIM is made up of five permanent members who collectively have over 50 years of experience supporting Sage 50 Accounts, Cim50 Manufacturing, Sage 200, Cim200 Manufacturing, Sage CRM and Swan software. We also provide support for third party add-ons, such as Draycir (Spindle), Eureka and Sicon.
Spotlight on Roger
Roger, or Rog as he is also known, has been a part of CIM since January 2006. He began his career at CIM on the Support desk, then switched to the Consultancy Team, and eventually returned to the Support Desk. Roger is very knowledgeable about all products, and he excels at report writing. He is also the world’s 🌍 leading authority on the legacy Swan Manufacturing Product. Outside of work, Roger has another skill, which is dog whispering; he has two canine buddies, one of which is a rescue and currently draws heavily on his dog whispering skills. 🐶🐶
