Welcome to the September edition of the CIM Support newsletter. 

There are a couple of important announcements listed below that I hope you will make note of and act accordingly.

Important!

End of Life for SQL Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012/2012 R2

SQL Server 2012 has already reached the end of support on July 12, 2022, and Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 will reach the end of support on October 10, 2023. After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, or technical support.

We would urge you to check with your IT Support the version of SQL Server and Windows Server you are currently using.  Then if you need to upgrade either of these platforms, please ensure that the compatibility information below is forwarded to your IT Support.

Important!

Users Prompted to Install Sage 200 Daily

We sent out a communication on 14th August 2023 regarding a problem with a Microsoft Update and Sage 200.  Sage has confirmed that Microsoft has identified the problem and a solution has been put in place.  Information regarding this can be found here.

Report of the Month

SL – Aged Debtors Report (Detailed) By Balance

The report shows a detailed list of outstanding invoices and credits by customer. It is formatted into portrait view and is sorted in balance order (descending).  Please click here for an example of the report. 

If you would like this report added to your Sage200 software please let us know.

CIM Challenge

Although we are behind target with our miles, we have started to reduce the deficit.

During August 2023 we walked 824.2 miles meaning that we are off target by 348.1 miles. Fingers crossed for a successful September and to closing that gap, little by little!

I’m pleased to announce that we have another employee who has joined the 1,000+ miles club.  This exclusive club currently has two members who both enjoy a walk.
