Cim200’s Advanced Functionality

Whilst Cim50 and Cim200 share a lot of similarities, the functionality included in the Cim200 and Sage 200 suite goes above and beyond what is possible with Cim50.

Here are just some of the additional features that are available in Cim200 and not available in Cim50:

Goods in Transit

Cim200 considers transit times when carrying out resource planning and transferring stock between locations. This is to ensure that manufacturers have the stock they need, where they need it, when they need it.

Quickly and easily process receipts for additional ancillary items created during the manufacturing process or received from suppliers automatically during the relevant receipt process.

Multiple Routes

Define different manufacturing processes on the Bill of Materials and select the most appropriate route at the point of generating your Cim200 Works Order. This could be based on available resource capacity, sub-contractor availability, cost, or lead times.

Percentage BOMs

Specifically designed for food and liquid/chemical manufacturers, this functionality enables manufacturers to configure Bill of Material components as a percentage of the finished product.

Base Items

Output multiple built items from the same Works Order. This functionality is designed for scenarios where a bulk product is manufactured and then dispensed into smaller containers for sale and cuts down on data-entry overhead and paperwork.

Customer Part Numbers

Utilise customer part numbers set up against Sage 200 stock items, allowing one stock item to fulfil the requirements of multiple customers. Customise your customer-facing documents to include the customer part numbers and your own stock code.

Multi Warehouse with Hierarchy

Store components in multiple warehouses. With Warehouse Hierarchy functionality for Works Orders and MRP, each warehouse location can be configured with a priority number to set an order of preference for sourcing component stock.

Inspection Templates

Ensure stock items are thoroughly quality-checked. Inspection templates allow users to create a library of inspection questions that can be attached to traceable stock items when they go through quarantine inspection.
