HMRC are making changes to their Password Complexity
If you are using Sage 200 Summer 2019 or lower (Sage 200 2016) you may need to download a standalone installer for MTD. This is due to HMRC making changes to their password complexity and the new installer will be required the next time you change your government gateway login.

Can I post into the new Financial Year before I run Year End?
We are often asked this question on the support desk and the short answer is no. This is because Sage 200 uses accounting periods to help control how you report on your company’s financial position. Transactions posted into a future account period don’t post to your nominal accounts, but are held as Deferred until the accounting period is opened.
Deferred transactions post to your customer, supplier and bank accounts, but are not included in the balance of your nominal accounts. This means you can keep up to date with current invoices while you finalise your year end accounts.
When you open the relevant period, the deferred transactions post to the nominal account.
To open accounting periods in a new year, you must first run your Year End.

CIM Challenge
What a great start to our CIM Challenge 2023!
Incredible! Amazing! Inspiring! What a team!
We have been out walking in temperatures ranging from -7° to 13°.
Our CIM Challenge for 2023 is to walk 11,072 miles, that’s the equivalent of walking the coastline of mainland Britain. Whilst we won’t actually be walking the coastline, we will be updating you each month with how many miles we have walked collectively as a company.
This month, we have walked 1049.3 miles, exceeding our target of 851.6 miles by a whopping 197.7 miles.
