🌟 Employee Spotlight

Tom Pretty
Position: Support Technician


Achievements: Tom is a dedicated support technician who focuses on the 50 Suite.  Known for his outstanding customer service skills, Tom is an indispensable member of the support team, always ready to lend a helping hand with expertise and a warm personality.  His contributions are highly valued and appreciated by both colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of work, Tom is a man of many talents. He enjoys a game of golf, and he hits the gym several times a week to keep fit and energised.  Speaking of achievements—let’s give a big round of applause to Tom for clinching victory in the CIM Fantasy Six Nations this Saturday!  A well-deserved win.


🏆 Company Achievements

Support Calls February 2025
Details: In January, we handled 463 support calls across all the software we support.  While our Support Team strives to address every enquiry, some require specialised expertise.  For bespoke program requirements, we refer enquiries to our Development Team. Training or report design requests are directed to our Consultancy Team, and any IT-related issues (for clients with an IT contract) are managed by our IT Team.

💡 Tips & Tricks

Tip 1: Year End
Details: As we approach the year-end period, many of our clients will be processing their year-end accounts. We are frequently asked to back up the database and create a new company.  Please provide us with 2 days’ notice for these requests.  If you need multiple companies created, we will forward your request to our Consultancy Team for a quote and scheduling.

Tip 2: F1

Details: One of the most helpful tips is to press F1.  Pressing F1 in Sage 200 opens the help guide specific to the window you’re currently using.  This feature provides context-sensitive assistance, making it easier to find relevant information and support without having to navigate away from your current task.


🌍 CIM Challenge

Details: In addition to the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge we’re tackling in May, we’ll be hosting a variety of mini-challenges throughout the year.  These activities might include golf, darts, pub quizzes, and a bake-off.  By offering these mini-challenges, we aim to ensure there’s something enjoyable for everyone to participate in.
