Settings

Settings for the Scheduler are accessed from within Sage 200. Users with the appropriate access rights can locate the Scheduler Settings from the Sage 200 > Cim200 Works Orders > Utilities > System Set Up  menu.

Open: Maintain Works Order Settings > Scheduler

The Scheduler Settings screen displays all the configurable options available for the Cim200 Scheduler.

Scheduler Preferences

Default View: Choose which of the 2 Scheduler Views you want to set as your preferred default. This is the view that will load when you first access the Scheduler from Cim50.

Schedule Labour Resources: This setting dictates whether labour resources will be included within the Scheduler or not.

Schedule Machine Resources: This setting dictates whether machine resources will be included within the Scheduler or not.

Schedule Subcontract Resources: This setting dictates whether subcontract operations will be included within the Scheduler or not.

Note: In order to save the Scheduler Settings, you must select at least one of the three schedule resource options.

 

Ad Hoc Booking Codes

The Ad Hoc Booking codes grid shows all available ad-hoc booking codes that will be available in the Scheduler.

The columns displayed and the information contained with are as follows:

Code: User defined code that is used when creating a new ad hoc booking for the Cim200 Scheduler.

Description: Description relevant to the ad hoc booking code.

Type: The type of ad hoc booking the code is associated with. One of Holiday, Miscellaneous, Repair, Service or Sickness. This value determines which icon would be displayed against the ad hoc booking within the Cim200 Scheduler.

Colour Code: The colour that the ad hoc booking uses when displayed in the Cim200 Scheduler.

Beneath the ad hoc booking codes grid are 3 buttons:

Add: Opens a screen where in you can add a new ad hoc booking code. The fields available match those displayed in the ad hoc booking codes grid as outlined above.

Edit: Highlight an ad hoc booking code in the grid and press Edit to open a screen where in you can edit an existing ad hoc booking code.

Note: You cannot edit the code itself, only the description, type and colour code fields are available for editing.

Remove: Highlight an ad hoc booking code in the grid and press Remove to remove an ad hoc booking code.
