About Works Order Settings

Use these settings to set preferences within the Works Order module.

Settings are held in various tabs, relating to different aspects of Works Orders.

The General tab holds settings which determine how orders will be created and processed.

Use the Scrap Codes tab to setup required scrap codes for using in scrapping materials.

In the Nominal Integration tab set the accounts to use for Nominal Ledger postings from the Works Orders module.

In Documents, setup any report layouts which will be required when printing orders.

The Working Week tab sets the production week for the company.  It is also accessible from the Maintain Works Order Settings screen.

The Commercials tab determines how the Works Order module interacts with Commercials modules

In Labels, setup any label layouts to use in conjunction with completion label printing.

Settings in the Scheduler tab determine how the Visual Scheduler functions and what it includes.

Settings on the SFDC tab determine certain behaviours in the SFDC platform.

 

To enter Works Order Settings

 

Open: Works Orders > Utilities > System Set Up > Maintain Works Order Settings

Open: Works Orders > Utilities > System Set Up > View Works Order Settings

Enter the settings on each of the tabs:
