Analysis Codes are spare fields which can be used for recording additional user-defined details about stock item records.
To restrict the values that can be entered in a stock item analysis code, a data type can be set.
Setting a data type doesn’t affect how values are stored in the database.
If no restriction is required on the type of values that can be entered on an analysis code, leave the Data Type blank.
To set a restriction, use one of the following available types :
