Following the creation of a Quotation based on an existing Bill of Material which is subsequently changed within the quotation, it maybe decided that the quoted amended Bill of Material will become the standard, this utility allows for the standard Bill of Materials to be updated from Quotations.
To update a standard Bill of Material from a Quotation, select the Quotation, this will display the customer and Stock Items quoted, with the option to select which Bill of Materials are to be updated.
Once selected use the ‘Update’ button to carry out the update and confirm.
The update will be noted in the Audit Log and can be reviewed in the Bill of Materials records concerned.
