Introduction

Make for Stock Demands (MFS) can be used as an alternative to maintaining Reorder Levels on Stock Records. The principle behind a Make for Stock demand is that you can tell the system that you want X amount of a product in stock on a certain date. The planning system will then raise recommendations accordingly to achieve that goal.

The MFS Demands list is accessible via the Make for Stock button within the planning module.

This button works slightly differently than most list buttons in Cim50 due to the nature of the Planning module containing multiple lists. The first time you press the button it loads the MFS list. Further subsequent clicks, once the MFS list is loaded, will display an interactive menu allowing you to process an MFS demand to include New, Amend, View, Repeat, Cancel and Delete. You can also access the same menu by right clicking on the MFS list.
