As per the BOM Analysis, the ‘Component Analysis’ screen allows you to setup a maximum of 20 custom analysis codes that can be recorded against each individual BOM Component item within a BOM. These would be used for sorting, reporting, and grouping component records.

Note: If you configure an Analysis Code in the BOM module, for either BOMs or Components, and it also exists within the Works Order Analysis Codes, Quotation Analysis Codes, Works Order Component Analysis Codes, or Quotation Component Analysis Codes, the value from the Bill of Material (Component) will be pulled through on to the Works Order/Quote or Works Order/Quotation Component, when the Works Order/Quotation is created.
The analysis code does not have to exist in the same position in the list but must have the same name and type.
