Use these settings to choose how to process and manage additional features from Cim200.
Open: Stock Control > Stock Records > Enter New Stock Item | By-Products
Open: Stock Control > Stock Records > Amend Stock Item Details | By-Products

By-products are items that you may also want to book into stock at the point of receiving an item that was ordered, or when a works order is completed. For example: you may want to book a pallet into stock when receiving some large goods on a PO.
You can define the list of possible by-products that you may book into stock during receipts on the By-Products tab when working with a stock item.
The By-products list displays any by-products which have previously been setup.
- You can add a new by-product by pressing Add beneath the by-products list.
- You can edit an existing by-product by highlighting the relevant item and pressing Edit beneath the by-products list, or alternatively by double clicking on the by-product item.
- You can remove a by-product by highlighting the relevant item and pressing Remove beneath the by-products list.
Adding a By-Product
On the Add Stock By-Products screen:
- Select a Stock Code from the stock lookup.
- Enter a Quantity. This is the default quantity that will be populated when processing a receipt.
- Define whether that quantity is Per
- Receipt – The quantity entered will be populated each time you receive stock or complete a works order.
- Each – The quantity entered will be multiplied by the quantity being received/completed.
- % of Receipt – A quantity of 1 will be populated whenever the specified percentage of a receipt/completion is processed.
Press Confirm on the By-Products screen and Save the stock item.
