Carbon Footprint Fuels

In order to calculate your businesses Carbon Footprint, you need to define the fuels or energy sources that your machinery, equipment and vehicle fleet uses.

The Fuel Codes List displays any fuels or energy sources already setup.

Maintaining Carbon Footprint Fuels

From the menu: Works Orders > Utilities > System Setup > Carbon Footprint Calculations > Maintain Carbon Footprint Fuels

  • To add a new fuel, click the Add button beneath the list.
  • To amend an existing fuel, select the fuel and click the Edit button beneath the list.
  • To remove an existing fuel, select the fuel and click the Delete button beneath the list.

Adding a Fuel

  1. Enter the Code for the fuel. This is the reference you will be able to search on when assigning fuels to machines within the Machine Register. When entering new codes, the Code must be unique.
  2. The Description gives further details of the code.
  3. The Unit defines the unit by which you measure the fuel usage, typically this is the billing unit shown on the relevant fuel bill.
  4. Enter a KgCO2e conversion ratio figure. This figure is the number of Kilograms of CO2 Equivalent produced per 1 unit of fuel used.
